NEW YORK--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Pace University (Pace) and Kaplan Global Solutions, a division of Kaplan, Inc., today announced their collaboration on a new Global Pathways Program which will identify and prepare well-qualified international students for study in many Pace undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
“Our aim is to harness Kaplan’s global network of offices and experience running thriving, effective Pathways programs and other international educational support services in order to help Pace manage the complexities of attracting, retaining, and graduating ever higher quality international students.”
The innovative Global Pathways Program will deliver a combination of intensive credit-bearing academic courses, English-language training, and university study skills preparation at Pace’s New York City campus. The inaugural intake of students is planned for summer 2012. International students accepted into the Pathways program who successfully complete all Pace University-determined requirements will be able to matriculate directly into the University with advanced standing.
Pace will oversee all admissions and academic criteria for the Pathways program and design and teach all classes. Kaplan will provide global marketing, student sourcing, and admissions support, as well as a wide range of student support services, such as assistance with immigration requirements and on-campus socio-cultural preparation services.
